The camera accessory kit is perfect for the S230 because it didn't come with a camera case and the Elph models are so small, this kit provides the kind of protection this little camera needs. It comes with a smaller leather case for the camera itself and then a large purse-like carrier with lots of pockets and zipper pouches. It's a thin case, not too bullky, with soft interior pockets for storage of cords, user manuals, and there is lots of room for other stuff too. The battery that comes with it is useful because I have had the battery that came with the s2300 for about a year or so and it takes longer and longer to charge up.
