Canon PowerShot SD750

Are you name at least three problems with the Canon PowerShot SD750 Digital Elph Camera? If you cannot, then perhaps you should not even be considering buying one. I am not recommending, the SD750 is a terrible camera, I am just commending that you need to know what your getting before you purchase it. Knowing the issues in a digital camera (even camera (even a Canon ) before you purchase is the key factor in your after purchase satisfaction. Let's consider some of the issues with the SD750 Digital Elph.
If your one of those purchasers who is considering upgrading their PowerShot SD500 to a SD750 thanks to the large LCD screen, be careful. The SD750 has a 3 inch LCD screen. However, the giant LCD is truly not enough to make the upgrade worthwhile. While megapixels and image sensor are the same between the 2 cameras, the image quality isn't. Pictures shot in less than ideal light using the flash turn out much more detailed on the SD500. Potentially due to barely different lenses.
As with many cameras in this class, you may notice a degradation in your ability to take more than one picture in quick succession with the SD750. The prime perpetrators here are slow SD memory cards, and weak batteries. The flash, and the now larger LCD make a contribution to the problem. What can help, is buying the fastest speed memory cards you can, and quality batteries.
- no optical viewfinder
- a less than intuitive menu and control system
- no manual exposure settings available
- short battery life
- zoom option not usable for shooting videos

Canon PowerShot SD770 IS Digital Camera Video Recording Mode Test

I got my new Canon PowerShot SD770 IS, digital camera yesterday, and using the 32 MB micro memory card that came with it I made a short demonstration video with it. I just wanted to display that it can indeed optical zoom in & out during video recording mode. Also, I notice while I was browsing YouTube for videos to show this feature that there wasn't many, so I made my own. It might be short, but it is straight to the point. Based on what I have experience thus far, I love it, and this is my first digital camera ever. Nice camera on my budget. I'll keep you posted. PS Please be respectful. I'll post longer ones later once I put my 16 GB micro memory to the test. Thanks for taking time out to watch my video!!! :-D Michael Jackson, ROCKS MY WORLD!
